Welkom! Meet your local connection in Amsterdam - ECEAT Netherlands
The European Centre for Eco- & Agro Tourism (ECEAT) is a not-for-profit, non-governmental organisation established in 1991 by several environmental, organic agriculture and nature protection organisations.

ECEAT's main focus is on rural development, sustainable land use and the environment in relation to sustainable tourism.

We are here to help and assist you with your travel arrangements to the Netherlands and especially it's capital Amsterdam.

In 2010 Amsterdam was nominated for the European Green Capital award. We want to show you that there are many ways to enjoy Amsterdam and its sights without leaving a big imprint on the environment. Don't worry, GREEN does not mean boring! Whether it's for a weekend break or holiday in Amsterdam, we will guide you in finding a suitable accommodation, fun tour, best organic restaurants and responsible shops.
